Today’s reminder that getting home to Connecticut from NYC sometimes feels like an Olympic sport. 😂
On the way back to Grand Central, I accidentally (or maybe fatefully) took the E train from the West Village. What should’ve been a simple commute somehow turned into: 2 walking tunnels, 3 staircases, searching for the mythical S train at Penn Station, and briefly considering either calling a cab… or walking barefoot. 😅
But after the chaos, I made the one stop to Grand Central, sprinted to Track 19 with 4 minutes left, and somehow made my train home.
Now sitting in an air-conditioned train headed back to Connecticut, I realized commuter life is kind of like reaching any goal: sometimes the route is confusing, exhausting, delayed, and absolutely ridiculous… but if you keep moving, you eventually get where you’re supposed to be. 🚆✨
And honestly? There’s no better feeling than seeing Milford, CT in MTA App as my destination💙🤍
