A weekend in the “City of The Brotherly Love” didn’t disappoint! We stayed at @elementphiladelphia pet-friendly and modern, toured City Hall, Masonic Temple, Independence Hall, saw Liberty Bell, but the @thebetsyrosshouse was just wow with the live impersonator! Elfreth Ave, @shaneconfectionery , @readingterminalmarket , dinner at @parc_philadelphia walking Rittenhouse Square and Delancey Pl to The Sixth’s Sense house, @monkscafephilly for drunk brunch and mussels, cutest Forthysia and insane @fabrikaphilly . Rocky steps and @barnesfoundation impressive @magicgardens lots of cheesesteaks but @shaysteaksandmore were hands down the best! Spending bday in @easternstatepenitentiary and @akshardhamusa made this day the most special #philadelphia #travelling

I still remember the video cassette with Gita and Zita and Disco Dancer movies, warm blankie and sweet laugh of my mum. These were our favorite movies and favorite moments. I kept them through my life, so when my coworker was going to India-he brought me sari on the way back and on the way from Philly we visited the biggest Hindu Temple located in New Jersey. Despite the rain, we were greeted with so much warmth and awe. Ladies at the entrance helped me with sari and were extremely happy for it. The temple inside impressed with hand carved marble pieces. Time slows down there, perfect place to meditate, I love the connection between nature, animals and humans. It felt sooooo spiritually elevating and I dkn, sweet, I will be coming back! This started as an expired listing. Same house. Same price. At that moment, it felt like we are on the winning path… 👀 ⚠️ Then the real drama began. 👉 Lender delays: 2024 and 2025 taxes were not filed 👉 Buyer opened a new credit card during closing. 👉 Loan had to be changed 👉 Extension after extension And the biggest issue? ❌ Poor communication ❌ Constant silence ❌ Everyone waiting on everyone So I went into full problem-solving mode. 👉 Pressuring attorneys for updates 👉 Keeping my seller informed 👉 Making sure momentum didn’t die 🎯 Final plot twist: We get clear to close… 👉 The ONE day I’m away 👉 My seller loses her phone 😅 So naturally… I had to ask my neighbor to ring her doorbell at 9 PM😝 The next day I’m in the courtyard of Independence Hall in Philadelphia coordinating: 📞 Lawyers 📞 Buyer’s agent 📞 Lender 📞 Seller A truly American closing moment 🇺🇸 🏡 And yes… we CLOSED. 💡 What I learned: Sometimes selling the house is the easy part.
