I have been visiting Milford since 2017, but in 2020, thanks to the work opportunity in CT Real Estate I had a chance to move here. Milford is the first place in the US that felt like HOME to me.
It is safe, clean, quiet, accessible and pet friendly.
This town shared so much with me: from unforgetable sunrises over LI Sound, falling asleep to the sound of waves, learning the ropes and sailing, birdwatching, horseback riding, to summer concerts and festivals, hiking, shopping, restaurants.

🏖️ Stunning Beaches: Enjoy the sun, strolls and birdwatching at Silver Sands State Park and Walnut Beach for kayaking and sup boarding all the way to the Charles Island. Both are perfect for a relaxing day by the water, beachcombing, or a picnic with family and friends. You can always join and catch a boating race at Milford Yacht Club.
🏰 Charming Downtown: Stroll through Milford's vibrant downtown, where you'll find unique boutiques, cozy cafes, and a variety of delightful restaurants. Don't miss stopping by Scratch Baking for a delicious treat!
🏡 Historic Sites: Step back in time at the Milford Green, home to beautiful historic homes and the iconic Memorial Bridge. Explore the Milford Historical Society for fascinating local history.
🚴♂️Outdoor Activities: Take a leisurely stroll or bike ride along the scenic boardwalk at Walnut Beach or the picturesque walking trails at Eisenhower Park which also has a huge dog park for your furry friend. There are many outdoor and indoor activities in Milford: gyms, boxing, pickleball, but my favorite is Lyra - aerial hoop classes at the Girl Spot. Also, after a long time, I started horsebackriding again - there is a number of great farms here with knowledgable instructors.
🎉 Community Events: Experience the vibrant Milford community with events like the Milford Oyster Festival, featuring live music, crafts, and delicious seafood. Enjoy the Milford Arts Council concerts, and don't miss the spectacular annual Fireworks Display that lights up the sky. Milford widely celebartes seasonal holidays and has many festivals and events. I always check Milford Chamber of Commerce for the next festivity.
🥗Restaurants: Milford can boast with variety of restaurant options, my favourites are: Flyer Diner for eggs Benedict, Strega for truffle pizza, Stonebridge for oysters and live music, MoMo Sushi for the freshest fish, Mexico Tipico for spicy Margaritas, Fratelli's for seafood pasta and classical Apizza at Jimmy'z.
